Plinth radiators now also with preset insert
From now on, all Stelrad radiators with insert will be fitted with a factory preset insert. So also our plinth radiators will be equipped with this. This gives an installer the advantage that he will save time, because he will have to do less adjusting work, and the consumer will save on his energy bill. In the table opposite, you can see which insert with corresponding presetting belongs to which plinth radiator. |
Cooling with VENTO
This is a thermostatic head that allows for cooling as well (item number T2142). An ordinary thermostatic head, for example, has a control range of 1 to 5. When set to 5 and fully ‘open’, this still corresponds to a temperature of about 27°C. When the room is warmer than this 27°C, the head will close the insert. Consequently no cold water can flow through the radiator for cooling. |
This new thermostatic head has a ‘K mode’ or cooling mode. This ensures that the valve is fully open regardless of the room temperature.
This applies to our VENTO radiators in combination with a heat pump set higher than the dew point. The water direction through the radiator should be reversed and the thermostatic head should be fully open, i.e. in the K position.
Make your Rayo EcoDesign
With our new smart plug (item number T2155), you can make your Rayo radiant panel EcoDesign. You can programme and control it. It is mandatory in Europe to connect the Rayo with such a smart plug. |
