Not only do we invest in the most environmentally friendly technology that exists, we have also put together a team at Stelrad that is permanently engaged in sustainability management.<\/p>\n<p>These are not empty words or just a good result on paper. We would like to present you with some important projects that will reduce our <strong>CO<sub>2<\/sub>-emissions by more than 4,500 tonnes per year<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<table width=\"850\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.stelrad.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/MagazijnHeerlen.png\" alt=\"Magazijn Heerlen\" width=\"420\" \/><\/td>\n<td><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.stelrad.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/ZonnepanelenAvantis.jpg\" alt=\"Avantis zonnepanelen\" width=\"420\" \/><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td style=\"vertical-align: top;\">\n<h2>Warehouse centralisation<\/h2>\n<p>By centralising our warehouse in Heerlen and closing our warehouses in Beek and Halen, among others, the number of journeys between warehouses and our branch in Herentals and Nuth is being greatly reduced. This results in an annual CO<sub>2<\/sub>-reduction of <strong>34 tonnes<\/strong>.<\/td>\n<td style=\"vertical-align: top;\">\n<h2>100% CO<sub>2<\/sub>-free energy<\/h2>\n<p>Thanks to a partnership with Heylen Group, our warehouse is equipped with solar panels. As a result, we are saving 3000 kW or <strong>553 tonnes<\/strong> of CO<sub>2<\/sub> every year.<\/td>\n<td style=\"vertical-align: top;\">\n<h2>Recycling<\/h2>\n<p>Both internally and externally, we ensure that packaging materials such as paper and plastic are recycled.
